We produce high-quality export yurts in Mongolia. Our production is exported worldwide, including to Europe, Australia, and America.

For our yurt production, we work exclusively with high-quality, ecologically certified product. For every yurt sold, we donate a financial contribution to the Sea-buckthorn Trees Reforestation Project Mongolia.

Furthermore, our production is based on a “fair income for all” ideology. With a motivated workforce, we can accomplish much better quality production.

Yurt production: Painting

As we work with high-quality wood, we rarely paint the wooden parts of the yurt. However, we have an economical yurt version wherein lower-quality wood is used for the yurt production; these yurts will be painted yurts.

The client has a large choice of color to choose from. You can even suggest your own color and your own painted patterns. The most popular colors are: red, orange, dark blue, brown, and green. By surfing through our website, you can see our different colors and patterns.

Yurt production: Covers and Felt

Our aim has always been to make the most durable and naturally beautiful yurts.

The felt is a natural and traditional covering material for the yurt. It has excellent insulating properties, keeping out the extremes of hot and cold that are experienced on the Central Asian steppe. However, during rain or in winter, it is important to regularly heat up the yurt. Our felt covers are decorated at the edges with strong webbing.

For the canvas covers, we use a poly/cotton material that is suitable for damp European climates. We supply special waterproofing product that should be applied on the canvas once the yurt is erected.

Regarding maintenance, we recommend reproofing the canvas once a year. This increases greatly the covers’ longevity. Clean the canvas with a soft brush and warm water (no soap, scrubbing, or pressure washing) before reproofing. Remember that any cleaning will remove some of the proofing, so it is better to apply new waterproofing product each time you clean your canvas.

Yurt production: Packaging & Transport

Before yurts are loaded into the container or on the truck, each yurt is set up. In this way, we check that every yurt is perfect and does not show any weaknesses. It is our quality control for our yurts.

We take extreme care to pack every part of the yurt perfectly to make sure yurts are not damaged during transport.

Once the yurts are ready to leave Mongolia for transport to China, Russia, or Europe, they are loaded onto a truck. For further destinations such as the USA, Australia, and South America, yurts are loaded into a container.

At arrival, our local agents clear the container through customs. Once all taxes are paid, yurts are ready to be delivered to the final destinations of our clients.
