Cleaning products for canvas

For the cleaning of your canvas we offer 2 types of products. One product is named “Power Cleaner”in association with “Shampoo Ultramar”, the other product is named “Reiniger Ultramar I” and “Reiniger Ultramar II”.

Use those products for easy removal of dirt, green deposits of algae, fungi, rain streaks, bird droppings, flies and spiders spots, etc.

1.a Use of “Reiniger Ultramar Nr1”

Before cleaning, moisture the cloth with water. Apply “Shampoo Ultramar” on the cloth and rub it with a soft brush. Let the product work for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and use of the brush to get the dirt of the cloth . Repeat the treatment for persistent dirt and prolong the soaking time. If the cloth is heavily pollution and covered with deeply penetrated dirt, “Power Cleaner Ultramar” to get rid of it. After abundant rinsing, apply “Ultramar Tent Protector” to make the cloth waterproof again and to protect the cloth against fungi, algae and stains.

1.b “Shampoo Ultramar”dosage

Consumption: 2.5 L = 15-30 m² (depending on fabric type)

1.c Remark

Even the most modern types of cloth can be safely cleaned without problem.

2.a Use of “Reiniger Ultramar Nr2”

Use this product only in case of deeply penetrated stains and heavy pollution. For normal dirt and pollution, use “Shampoo Ultramar”. Apply “Power Cleaner” to the cloth and rub with a soft brush.

Allow about 1 hour soak. If you don’t see any changes, spray a little extra “Power Cleaner” and brush again. Let it soak again. Repeat this process until the stains disappeared. This may take several hours. Then rinse with a brush and plenty of water. After abundant rinsing, apply “Ultramar Tent Protector” to make the cloth waterproof again and to protect the cloth against fungi, algae and stains.

Coverage: 1L = 8-15 m² (depending on fabric type)

Do not use “Power Cleaner” on Nylon (Spinnakers) and Kevlar
